National Institute of Silicon Technology (NIST):- National Institute of Silicon Technology (NIST), established in 1981, is a research and development organization working in the field of Solar Energy. The Institute is also working as Headquarter of Inter Islamic Network on Renewable Energy Source, one of the many networks of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH). Its objectives include carrying out research in the field of Solar Energy in general and Phtovoltaics in particular to disseminate / transfer the know-how to help and encourage the private sector to promote these newly developing technologies. Center for Applied and Molecular Biology (CAMB):- The website is of Center for Applied and Molecular Biology. CAMB offers M.Phil and P.HD degree in the field of Molecular Biology. CAMB also offers short courses to train national as well as international students and researchers in the field of Molecular Biological Research in agriculture, health and environment. The Council for Works and Housing Research (CWHR):- The Council for Works and Housing Research (CWHR) was established in 1964 and was brought under the umbrella of Ministry of Science and Technology (MoSt) in 1972. CWHR initiates, promotes and guides scientific research related to civil engineering works such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, harbors, sewerage, storm water drainage treatment plants etc. The site offers information about the objectives and sub-offices of CWHR.

STEDEC Technology Commercialization Corporation of Pakistan (Private Limited):- STEDEC was established in 1987 as a Private Limited Company as a subsidiary of PCSIR with a capital of Rs. 20 million against an authorised capital of Rs. 50 million. This corporation is registered under Companies Ordinance 1984. It's head office is located at Lahore and also has a regional office in Karachi. STEDEC assists the public sector R&D organisations in the commercialization of indigenously researched products, processes and technologies.

Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH):- Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH), Islamabad, was established in 1976, as part of Pakistan Science Foundation, Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of Pakistan). The Museum has four Principal Divisions, namely Botanical Sciences, Zoological Sciences, Earth Sciences and Public Services. The first three Divisions are engaged in the collection , identification and other research activities pertaining to plant, animal and mineral resources of Pakistan respectively, while the latter is responsible for public display and education of the collected material.
